The GBK-2 latch is used to secure a 1" O.D. valve or dummy in the K series mandrel. The latch is a spring loaded, ring style latch which locks in place when the latch reaches the recess in the mandrel receiver pocket. A pin is sheared to release the latch body (a dual pupose locking and retrieving part of the latch) allowing the ring to move upward permitting the retrieval of the valve or dummy.

GRK Latch

The GRK latch is used to secure a 11/2" O.D. valve or dummy in the MMG series mandrel. The latch is a spring loaded, ring style latch which locks in place when the latch reaches the recess in the mandrel receiver pocket. A pin is sheared to release the latch body (a dual pupose locking and retrieving part of the latch) allowing the ring to move upward permitting the retrieval of the valve or dummy. In addition the latch sub contains two O-rings which provide a better top seal and debris barrier.

E Dummy
